    We are 100+ members with wide ranging backgrounds. Some are club active non-riding members, low mileage riders, cross Canada cyclists, competitive runners, triathletes and mountain bikers. 2007 SEASON MEMBERS AWARDS NOW POSTED
This years Winterlude pot luck dinner on Sunday Feb 24th also hosted the awards ceremony for the 2007 season winners. Congratulations to all the recipients and a special thanks to all our members who made this event happen.

2008 MEMBERSHIP APPLICATIONS NOW AVAILABLE
Now's the time to start planning for the '08 cycling season. Your first step is to download, fill out and mail in your O.C.C. membership application. The next steps are reviewing your bike for maintenance issues and planning yourself a fitness regime that will get you through the winter until we meet again.

O.C.C. TRI IT IN GUELPH
Members Brent, Cora and Marty competed in the sprint triathlon relay today in Guelph Lake II. They fought hard in their debut but a surprisingly very competitive field only allowed them a 6th overall finish. Better results still to come from these three I'm sure! (For more details contact Marty.)

O.C.C. TAKES ON VERMONT
Vermont Lakes Region Cycling Weekend played host to 5 of our members Saturday, July 14 and Sunday, July 15. Riding out of Poultney, VT all members completed two rides of 60 & 51 miles. Next time you see Peter, Dave, Melissa, Cora or Brent ask for details of the event.

CANADA DAY RIDE SUCCESS
Many O.C.C members were eager to celebrate Canada's 140th birthday on Sunday with the traditional early 8am start from Durham College. Not only did they complete the ride which measures 1km for each year they also did it with the same strength and determination it took build this great country of ours. Congratulations on a job well done.

FIRST TT OF 2007 SET TO GO!
New season and new location for the Tuesday night Time Trials which start 6:30pm May 29th at the intersection of Green Rd & Taunton in Bowmanville.
