Scugog Circle Century Tour

It is with sadness, that after twenty-five years of presenting the Scugog Circle Century to the cyclists of southern Ontario and beyond, that the Oshawa Cycling Club has had to discontinue the sponsoring and organizing of this feature tour in 2009. The changing traffic patterns over the last twenty-five years have reached a point where we feel that following the same route or a similar one would put the safety of the participants in jeopardy. We hope that all who participated over the past years have as many fond memories as we do and that they cherish their accomplishments of the previous tours. We would also like to thank the many supporters who helped make the Scugog Circle Century a success in past years; Bicycles Plus, Impala Bicycles, North Shore Amateur Radio Club Inc., Durham College, St. John Ambulance, and David Thomas Printing Limited. We owe you a debt of gratitude.

That being said, we have also decided not to leave our avid cyclists without a summer event in which to participate. We are announcing the inception of our new summer event:
